Big City Brands, Small Town Vibes.

On November 1, 2017, I unlocked the front door of The Nest for the very first time.

I was terrified.

I had never owned a retail store, I still had a full-time job, and I had no idea how to run a boutique. What I did know was that God had placed a dream in my path, and sometimes the biggest blessings begin with the biggest leap of faith.

That one morning changed my life.

The Nest first opened its doors in March 2016, founded by Randy and Julie Squibb. Nineteen months later, my husband and I were given the opportunity to continue what they had started. We closed on the building on October 31, 2017, and unlocked the front door for business the very next morning.

Since then, we've experienced the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Like any small business, there have been challenges, lessons, and moments when we wondered what tomorrow might bring. Through it all, we've been blessed with an incredible team. DeeDee and Angie have stood beside us through the storms, helping make The Nest the warm and welcoming place it is today. I truly couldn't imagine this journey without them.

What has kept me going all these years is simple. I genuinely love beautiful things. Clothing that makes you feel confident. Handbags you'll carry for years. Jewelry that becomes part of your everyday style. Shoes that make you smile the moment you put them on.

But even more than that, I love the people.

Some of our customers have become dear friends, and the conversations we share every day are one of the greatest blessings of owning this boutique.
